Spitting Hot Fire...

The Vocals for the new Shootyz album are almost done. This makes me very happy indeed.
I really can't wait to finish this record. It's been a long time in the making. It's been a while since
SG released an album. I'm very confident that SG fans all over the world will dig this record.
Speaking of Vocals, Sense and Season are simply spitting the hottest fire on the microphone ever.
I'm extremely happy with their performances so far. The vocals truly match the fury of the music for sure.
This has been one of the most challenging records we've ever made, simply because of the fact that we're
doing it very piecemeal due to time constraints.
But I think Donny and I have got things in order for the most part and we're very happy with the way it's
sounding.
We have a couple of more vocal sessions to go and then we're ready for post production.
Deeno and I will be taking some time away this weekend from the album to record a quick demo for some up and coming Mc's.

More Fire for sure!

New Orleans...

It's hard to even get my feelings out on this subject right now.
But I'll try.
I feel very saddened and heart broken over the mass loss of lives down in the gulf coast.
I feel Confused, Frustrated and Angered by the slow response of the the Government, both Federal
and Municipal.
I cannot see why it took 5 days to mobilize our Military for search and rescue.
I cannot understand how the Mayor of New Orleans and the Governor of Louisiana lost control
of their Municipality.

Only today we began to see evacuations on a mass level. I realize it takes some time to mobilize troops,
but 5 days?
I'm embarrassed to even speak about it sometimes because it seems so preposterous of a thought.
I think I remember seeing U.S. troops in Sri Lanka 3 days after the tsunami hit them.
Sri Lanka is half way around the fucking world and it takes us 5 days to get American Troops To an American State!
What is wrong with this picture?

What we've seen here people, is a lack of leadership on all levels of Government.
From GWB down to the vast majority of New Orleans PD abandoning the city in it's most time
of need.
I keep reading and hearing people say that 2 natural disasters happened at the same time and that that was the cause of the delay in action.
I won't buy that these leaders did not know that it was within the realm of possibility that a catastrophe
on this scale could happen.
There is a lot of buck passing going on and it's disgusting.
I'm no GWB basher, in fact I voted for the guy, but I think we need our President to take less vacations and
spend more time on the job man.

Anybody who knows me, knows how much I love the South. Especially New Orleans. I have had some
amazing times in that beautiful city and I believe it will rise again.
I was actually thinkin a couple of weeks back of taking a road trip down there to see some of my good friends in the Easy.
Thank God those friends are OK.

Please help with the relief effort by donating some money. It does not have to be a lot. Anything will do.
The American Red Cross

I know the Easy will rise again and I cannot wait to get back down there.
Please keep them in your prayers.
