The Juggler..

It's been a long while since my last entry. I have been tending to a ton of work lately.
The new SG album is in it's post production phase and we are on schedule to begin the mixing phase
within the next couple of weeks.
The songs are sounding great and as a whole, we think this album will add to our legacy in a proper way.
I know some of you are used to reading or hearing recording artists say things like, "it's our best album yet"
or "it's the heaviest shit we've ever done" or " without a doubt, this is the ultimate album".

I know when I read or hear something like that, I kinda chuckle. Don't get me wrong, I am very excited about
letting the world hear our new album and I do think it's great, but I'm not going to try and hype you on an album.
I'm not a salesman, I'm an artist.
One thing I can say however, is that this new album advances our musical journey and continues the SG tradition
of providing ass shakin' body rockin', social screaming, madness inducing music for the people.
And if that sounds interesting to you, then stay tuned.

Today I realized that by the time this new album is released, it will be close to 7 years since we released High Defintion.
7 years between records is some Pink Floyd shit!
For the true Shootyz Groove Faithful, it will be worth the wait.
And in the future, I hope we'll be able to continue this journey we started back in the summer of 92'.

I have been wearing many hats lately; Producer, Recording Engineer, Songwriter, Band Manager, Booking Agent,
Drummer, Teacher, and Human Being.
I like the challenge, but it's made me a not so great friend and family member latley, due to my focus.
I'll try to make it up to you guys soon. OK.

I have found that the art of Juggling is no mere parlour trick. No, No...
It's a way of life here in the BX.
Believe that.

over.... (((d)))
